Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

I couldn’t get past the sadness in the eyes.

I glanced from photo to mirror, the eyes were the same, perhaps a little sadder. Nick had been my whole world. But I hadn’t been his.

This photo had been taken by one of his bandmates when they had invaded my apartment at an ungodly hour and pretty much taken over. That’s the way it always happened, he would show up without any notice and disappear again on a whim.

I would tell myself this time I’d refuse him entry to my heart and home but I always let him in.

Wow, you can feel her despair. Poor girl, she should buck up and stick to her guns. Kick him to the curb. Loved it.

Love is a many splendored thing and it will also make you do some pretty stupid things. Venus, this is a very good post. Nicely done.

Aw....poor girl. She should tie Nick to the bed and do naughty things to him until he gives in. What? It's worked for me.

GREAT JOB!!
