Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

He stroked my soft belly in slow light caresses and I purred. I’d never had any intention of misleading Scott and I’d certainly never intended to become physically or romantically involved. My assignment was to keep watch over this brilliant man destined for greatness. I was here to help protect and guide his gifts until the time was right to reveal his heritage and destiny. Now if that weren’t enough I was going to have to explain that the woman who spent her nights wrapped in his arms was the cat who spent her days curled up in his lap.

Excellent. I love the twist you put on the story. I also loved being in the cats POV. Well done.

Very nice, a very complicated conflict of interest and quite a challenge for the Kat. Perhaps we'll learn in another FFF post. Very cool and very, very creative - outstanding.
