Flash Fiction Friday March 16

Flash Fiction Friday
Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

As I looked at the image on the screen I couldn’t believe my eyes. Why had Sarah sent this picture? How could she do this to me, I thought she was my best friend. Yet here it was tormenting me from my phone: the forwarded message she had sent my fiancé and his tawdry responses.
My first instinct was this was a prank; that she was getting back at me for the Seafoam bridesmaid dress. But I knew it wasn’t a joke. And as I scrolled down the screen my tears blurred the photo I’d never erase from my mind.

Damn, that hurts just reading about it. But better to find out before the vows are spoken. Good post. I am really curious to see what everyone has done with this one. Keep up the good work.
