Review -- Kissing With Fangs by Ashlyn Chase

Title: Kissing With Fangs (Flirting with Fangs Trilogy #3)
Author: Ashlyn Chase
Genre:  Mass Market Paperback
Published: March 4 2014 by Sourcebooks Casablanca
Length:  352 pages
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

About the book:
There's Something He's Never Told Her...

When her workplace burned down, Claudia should've taken it as a sign to move on—and not just professionally. She's been secretly lusting after her mysterious boss, Anthony Cross, for years. There's no way she should agree to help him rebuild if she wants to keep her heart intact, and yet it's impossible to stay away...

The flames that destroyed Anthony Cross's beloved bar are nothing compared to the heat he feels every time he lays eyes on Claudia. But he can't have her—it's against paranormal law for a vampire to date a human. Besides, he has some dangerous enemies, and one in particular already has her sights on Claudia. He owes her the truth—both about his feelings and his vampire nature—which means their lives are about to get hotter than ever...

Well, it's no secret how much I adore this author and this series! I wondered how she was going to handle the enigmatic Anthony but I never guessed the journey he and Claudia would take, and that we as readers would get to go along for the roller coaster ride. With her usual flirty and fun style the author takes on some very serious topic matters in this installment and never fails to entertain. I absolutely loved how we finally got to find out more about Anthony; every time he made an appearance in each previous book he completely ensnared me, leaving with so many questions left unanswered. And now all has been revealed and when we get to delve deeper into Claudia's life and psyche I was so surprised by some of her personality traits and idiosyncrasies. With this story it was as if all my questions had been answered. I love how the thorn in Anthony's side became such a big part of this story and how we also learned how she'd become the vampire she was and why she continuously acting the way she did. I will say that I never thought I'd feel about her the way I do now and I believe she might just be one of the most fascinating ladies ever written. Rumour has it that there will be another series coming from this one and I'm already counting down to read it!
