Favourite Author Friday -- Lucy Farago

I'm so excited to be bringing back this feature where I will introduce some of my most favourite artists. Authors are my Rockstars and I go quite fangrrl!

So I hope you enjoy!

So let’s meet Lucy Farago

Are you usually late, early or right on time?

YES, all of the above. If I care to make a good impression, I am early. If it’s not overly important 9 out of ten times, I’m late. Meeting, appointments, work, I fly in by the seat of my paints. Ironically I hate to wait. I was never one to wait in line-ups for anything. My only exceptions are rollercoasters. I accept the line-ups and wait my turn. I love rollercoasters.

What is your perfect pizza?

We have this food truck in my neighbourhood that has a stone oven! The pizza is thin crust and smells heavenly no matter the toppings. I actually crave this pizza and during the winter months I miss it. As long as it doesn’t have green peppers or ham and pineapple, I’ll eat anything.

What cheers you up?

I cannot pass by flowers without smiling. I have an orchid tattoo on my foot. White orchids were in my wedding bouquet. I love exotic flowers of any kind. Buy me flowers and I’m happy.

What is the longest you have gone without sleep?

4 days. I was in Vegas and between the early morning flight, the oxygen in the hotel and in the casinos and being woken up for a  hot air balloon ride at 6:00 am, I believe I slept 8 hours tops.

Blurb

The glitz and glamour of Las Vegas hide a multitude of sins. And in Lucy Farago's show-stopping series, a lawyer and an FBI agent take a walk on the seedy side, where greed breeds a deadly desperation...

Civil attorney Shannon Joyce walks the line of law and order, but she learned from day one how to put up a good front-thanks to her con man father. Thirteen years ago, she left the east coast and her life of crime behind. Her high school sweetheart, Noah, was collateral damage, but some things can't be helped. But now there's no escape when her past comes roaring down the Strip-in the oh-so-tempting form of the man she left behind...

Special Agent Noah Monroe has Shannon exactly where he wants her-in the back of his car in handcuffs. Her grifter father has been murdered, and the FBI needs Shannon to keep one of his scams in play to bag the big bad guy who was financing him. Once again a pawn in someone's else game, Shannon will have to trust her instincts to survive both the peril threatening her-and the passion Noah reignites...
