Are you usually late, early or right on time?
I am early, usually very early. I cannot abide being late.
What is your favourite part of the human face? Why?
Eyes. You can tell so much about how a person feels by just looking at their eyes. It's also easier to spot liars that way. :) I'm a lawyer. Never lie to your lawyer especially if they can read your facial expressions.
What song gets the most play on your IPod right now?
The Sounds of Silence by Disturbed. I also like the original by Simon and Garfunkel.
What was the last thing you ate?
Steak and Shake Garlic Burger with cole slaw – and it was greasy and yummy and I will pay for it tomorrow, I am sure. But I'd do it again.
What is your perfect pizza?
A thin crust, no sauce, just some olive oil and garlic, layered with buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, grilled chicken, and basil. Now, I'm hungry for that and I just had the Steak and Shake burger.
What cheers you up?
Reading for enjoyment.
What is your favourite book?
Okay, I have read a lot of books. Still read a lot of books. I own a lot of books and, no, I am not giving them up. I don't care what that Japanese organizing chick says. If I had to list one book – aww, kill me now – I can't list one. So, I will tell you that the book that most inspired me to write what I write is Mary Stewart's The Moonspinners.
What is the longest you have gone without sleep?
I once went almost 36 hours without sleep. Bad return flight from Hawaii thru San Francisco and lots of cancelled flights later we finally made it home to Indiana. I cannot sleep on planes or on airport floors. Yeah, I'm picky.
What is your favourite midnight snack?
I call that dinner since I don't go to bed until around 4 am. And I usually eat crackers and cheese with slices of apples for that late night meal.
Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day?
My hubby.
Who is the last person you argued with?
My hubby – it was over what to clean his car's backup camera with. He didn't listen to me and it is still somewhat smeared.
What TV show do you secretly enjoy?
No, secret – I love cooking shows. All of them.
