Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. The rain soothed my annoyance.
“Told you skinny-dipping was a bad idea.”
He ignored my sarcasm and waggled his eyebrows, “You enjoyed yourself until you discovered our clothes gone AWOL.”
“It’s more the missing cellphone and car bothering me.” I couldn’t resist the urge to roll my eyes.
He reached for my hand, “At least the road is paved, so no gravel embedded in our feet.”
I found myself giggling at his carefree attitude. “Well we have the long walk home to decide how we explain to the kids why we show up after date night soaking wet and naked.”

I really enjoyed this demonstration of adventure by a couple who does not let kids/family/etc get in the way of romance. nice job.
