Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday
I peeked around the corner at my older brother.
I bet he was going to sneak into the liquor cabinet.
I thought I’d heard something, opening the door I’d discovered Brad creeping down the hall. He’d been acting strange ever since coming home for the holidays. I was surprised to see him stop outside the guest room where his roommate Mike was staying. The look of longing in his eyes reminded me of the way Sally Edwards watched me at swim practice.
But enough of this crap. How come my brother wasn’t partying it up like those guys on tv?

Oh, you have to write more on this. There's definitely something going on to build on. Loved it
Well that threw me off guard! Here I'm thinking it's only about the alcohol and then you sneak in more (including the holiday). Nice one Venus! :)
great post. Now you have to write more about it...
Are they lovers? Interesting to ponder. Good post Venus!
Great post, l can see that they could be brothers! Well done!
Well this one left me hanging. There definitely a deeper story to this. Great read.
Now I want the rest of the story. Sometimes 100 words just aren't enough. Great post.

Naughty cliffhanger...I want more! Excellent job, Venus ;-)
The innocent view on something naughty-always a hit with me, Good job, Venus ;-)
Nice! A very good post! I really would like to know more about the brother and his roommate!
Oooh, a secret love affair! Love it!
Oh, sounds like older brother has a secret.
Oh now there is a different twist!
Nicely done V!

Yep, I think the older brother needs to head back to the liquor cabinet to get some more courage. Venus, I love all the implications of this FFF post. Outstanding.
Good 100. I agree with the obviously intelligent and observant readers who have commented here today. I enjoyed your spin. Little brother doesn't know which end is up yet does he? Wonder how he will react when he gets a clue? Anger? Acceptance? Disbelief?
Oh...he's in love...*sighs*
This was different...kinda weird, but nice in the way his brother accepted this...good job!
Awesome twist!
This was great Venus. I love all the different directions. Will the brother end up with his roommate? Will he dive into the liquor for some courage? Will the younger accept whatever is going on behind those closed doors?
Oh wow! Sweet. I love the innocence of this post.
