Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

I couldn’t help but feel so very sad wrapped up in my husband’s loving arms. We’d had a wonderful night, making a memory to last a lifetime; another memory to add to a span of memories. College tuition was expensive and the economy was not being kind to either one of us right now. It just wasn’t in our budget to keep the classic car Eric’s father had given him for his 16th birthday and the buyer made an offer we just couldn’t refuse. Our son had been accepted into a prestigious school and we did what any parents would.

Good on Eric being accepted in the school. It's the best way for two parents obviously still in love to celebrate. Great flash

Did it one last time in the car, nice. With all the craziness of reality, I like that these two are keeping their priorities in order ;)
Hopeful flash

Bummer they had to sell it. What a way to make a memory! I'd like to make some memories like that. Great post as always.
