Favourite Author Friday -- Cindy Spencer Pape

I'm so excited to be introducing a new feature, where I will introduce some of my most favourite artists. Authors are my Rockstars and I go quite fangrrl!

And as an added bonus today in celebration of her release as part of the Into The Flames collection this week I'm also presenting the fabulously talented Cindy Spencer Pape!

I have loved this author from the very first book of hers I read and I truly cannot get enough of her! She has introduced me to a few genres I might have never read if I hadn't already known how talented she was. If someone asked me to tell them my favourite book by her I'd truly be hard pressed to narrow it down to one. Do yourself a huge favour and pick up one of her books, I know you won't be disappointed.

I also have to say I've had the great pleasure to meet this woman and the only thing that outshines her talent as an author is her infectious smile and her truly lovely personality!

What was your favourite toy as a child?

I had a teddy bear I slept with until I went away to college. I also really loved Barbies (and GI-Joes) because you could use them to make up stories.

Are you usually late, early or right on time?

Generally either early or late. I try to be on time, but either I leave with a cushion and then nothing happens, or something delays me and I end up late. There’s no in-between.

What is your favourite flower and why?

Liliacs. I love the scent, even though I’ve grown allergic to it as I get older. And they always bloomed for Mother’s Day, so I would pick my mom a bunch and let the house fill with the scent. Now they also remind me of her.

What cheers you up?

Hugs. Laughter. I have some self-esteem issues, so sometimes what I need is just reassurance that people care, whether it’s a kiss or a bop on the head.
