What song gets the most play on your IPod right now?
It's an oldie but a goodie-”Happy” by Pharell, because I have made a resolution to get my exercise and diet in order this year, and it makes me run faster on the treadmil! I also like the “meditation” mix my teacher plays in yoga class, and any opera while I'm writing.
What was the last thing you ate?
It's totally dull, but—oatmeal! (It's breakfast time) I went to a friend's birthday last night, though, and had the much more fun profiteroles and champagne.
What was the last picture you took with your phone?
I'm not sure—probably my dog! Because she is endlessly cute. I also take lots of sunset pics here, because they are gorgeous over the mountains, but I'm not a great photographer so they never come out well.
What is your perfect pizza?
Hawaiian! (pineapple and Canadian bacon). But my husband strongly disagrees.
Do you scream on roller coasters?
Of course! But I am such a chicken, Big Thunder Railroad at Disneyland is about as scary as I like to get.
Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day?
My mother!
What is your favourite flower and why?
Pink roses. They're my favorite color AND favorite scent. (plus my grandmother, who was a whiz of a gardener, had the most beautiful little rose garden, and my favorite was always a bug, ruffly pink called Malmaison. They make me think of her)
