I love my
romance with mystery. And when the mystery is accompanied by a heroine who can
take care of herself and the man in her life it is all the more rewarding. The
connection between the main couple was what really pulled me in. Each was so
well developed and I love when I can feel a connection with the people I am
reading about. I loved that Celisse’s personality never changed as so often
happens when a strong female lead has sex or has strong emotional feelings. Cullen
is one fabulous leading man and the connection between these two is amazing.
This was a fast-paced, skillfully written story with some fantastic twists and
surprises. I cannot wait to read the next in the series as I believe it will be
just as fascinating. This is my first story by this author but I know it will
not be my last.
