Feeding body and mind

With the huge lotto last night, I could not resist purchasing a ticket. And then ironically this morning a bunch of friends talked about what we would do if we won a million dollars. Of course my first instinct pay off bills and help out family take my mother on her life long dream trip to Fijji and surrounding areas.
Then I found myself giving this some serious thought. I'd love to set up a program for children. To feed the many children who show up at school hungry every day and to provide books in order to promote the love of reading I myself have. How to go about setting up this program and can I make a difference. Things for me to give even greater thought to.

Start with a financial planner and non-profit specialist- they are the knowledge to know the good and the bad of how to start such a dream of giving.
Consider contributing to inner city schools lunch and breakfast programs- or even to start up a summer program to feed children- while in school they are guaranteed to have 2 meals a day- in the summer...who knows.
Just my 2-cents
