Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday
It was a fairy tale in the making, the love fairly radiated off the embracing couple. Stars shone in their eyes, eyes that they had only for each other. The rest of the world ceased to matter. The snow steadily fell around them but they were completely oblivious.
My heart swelled at just being lucky enough to witness the strong emotions of a couple so obviously in love. I felt my eyes well up and my throat clog, then I laughed. I laughed at my fanciful thoughts and placed the Christmas card on the fireplace mantle with all the others.

Wonderful take on the image. Fabulous read. Merry Christmas!
Poor girl. I think we've all been there. I find myself jealous of Christmas cards, the pictures that come in photo frames, and the couples in Cialis commercials all the time. ;)
LOVED IT
Loved your fff this week.
Love the Christmas card twist. I get all emotional seeing sappy things too. Loved it!
Yep, love that all consuming could only exist in a dream or on a Xmas card. Ok, I'm just being cynical - kinda.
Venus, you have a deliciously twisted imagination. You are a writer to with serious skills. Nicely done.
That was adorable, Venus! Happy Holidays! :)
