Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday. A picture may be worth a thousand words but not for us. We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on a picture. To see the picture and the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

I couldn’t believe this, I’d worked so hard on this presentation, spent all of my savings to make the prototypes, quit my boring yet stable day job and my one and only chance for backing had fallen asleep while his sidekick was badgering me as I poured my heart and soul out to this boardroom full of vultures. My palms were sweaty, my business suit felt as if it was boa constrictor attacking me. I swear I was either going to faint, cry or throw up any minute now, or all three. Perhaps I’d throw my pointer at my inquisitioner.

Oh no!! He should smack him with his pen. Hope he doesn't get sick. That certainly wouldn't get him the job. Loved it!!

How cute! The first sentence runs on atad, but it conveys his frustration, much like mine would be. I can see a young entrepreneur with uncontrollable excitement. Loved it. Throw the point and don't throw up:) xo
